Discovering Dharma
ON FEELING TOO SENSITIVE TO LIVE IN THE WORLD AND "MAKE A LIVING"
A true awakening to the Source beyond the individual "self" will reveal your dharma- your soul purpose for being here in this life, and then “making a living” will arise naturally and joyfully.
It’s not magical thinking, you’ll still have to take actions, but the actions come out of the source of you.
It may take years to arrive at a place on the other side of many changes where you feel like you can access your dharma.
In the mean time, just do your best. Be of service, help others.
The “magnitude” of awakening is another trick of the mind. Don’t radicalize it unnecessarily.
Continually ask the Source and your Soul to work through you, to manifest Divine Will, to show you the way.
Have faith and don’t be in a hurry.
In the beginning, life is different.
And the ego is very helpful in making a great big deal about it…but in truth, after awakening, life only becomes simpler.
The heart’s voice gets louder and more clear, habitual fears and inhibitions fall away.
Equanimity is gained.
There is great joy in everything- from winning awards to doing the dishes.
The drama around the cleansing process associated with awakening often comes from lack of understanding and education and perhaps from lack of the support of a proper guide.
This requires an adjustment to the new forces of spiritual movements, of course, but if you’re doing your yoga correctly, you should still be able to function in the world.
Find a school of thought that works for you and trust in God-Godess-Source-Spirit-Life ... allowing your worries to be absorbed into the simplicity of the next step in front of you.
